How do you accomplish art nouveau? Is it done with brushes or all by hand? Is it really time-consuming or does it take about as long as any other picture might?

It takes about the same time, but to be honest my other works take a lot of time as well. Most of this is painted, but the borders are either done with the pentool, or vectors (created with the pentool most often), and the roses are part brush, part painted :)
