I almost didn’t upload this, as I just painted it for myself because I found a reference I could’ve really used for Who am I. In fact, this one is much closer to the original idea of Who am I, though I like how that turned out (better than I liked my original idea).
Blue seems to represent Loki’s ‘dark side’ in the movies; his Frost Giant heritage of course (because despite their later objections to Loki’s plan, both Odin and Thor had been very clear about the Frost Giants being evil, that might not be true, but the certainly represent evil in Loki’s mind at the very least), and then the quest for the Tesseract. And the scepter, the powerful mind control weapon he uses in “The Avengers” also controls him. (His eyes turning bright blue, rather than the scary ‘dead eyes’ the humans under its control get.)
Anyway, as usual I am over-thinking things. But that was the idea behind this.
I really like how the textures turned out, and I used a new brush to do all the edges, making them sharper, and I like the effect I have to say. Of course it helps that this was a pretty large file, so more room for detail.

I fainted when I looked into his eyes...so breathtaking...I'm trapped now and I can't stop staring at Him...you caught his God side! And, by the way, it was a very good idea to put his "blue side" in your drawing!
That is brilliant!
