The OTHER Great Game by Nero749 The OTHER Great Game by Nero749
Chess... We've all seen that board lying in the living room, but let's face it, none of us would want to play the game with Sherlock ;)

Thank you to mortmere :iconmortmere: for the wonderful suggestion! And there is a wonderful podfic that has nothing to do with Chess, but was an inspiration to mortmere, so I will look for the link ;)

Dear Nero:

This is Indy. Greetings from Canada!!!

How many agree with me here in the fact that Sherlock would battle hardened Russian chess grandmasters hollering, "MUMMY?"

Sherlock could play speed chess and leave 'em all in the dust!!!

Sincerely yours always,

Indy.

Dear Nero:

This is Indy. Greetings from Canada!!! I hope this finds you and yours well.

Great work, Nero, and I would like to write a bit of a fiction for this, if you don't mind. I would like to make it a little more realistic by finding out the moves Sherlock made for checkmate in 5.

Can anyone help me here? I'd only need the notations for those moves.

I wholeheartedly agree with all who said we need more smiley Sherlock, even though here he's smiling like the cat that ate the canary.

So, mind if I gave it a go?

Sincerely yours always,

Indy.

NO, go ahead! I'd love to read it, so please give me a link when it's up ;)
I can't help you with the moves, I am a rubbish player :O But I do know you can find transcripts of whole games online, so you could try that ;)
